Entry Requirements
Entry Requirements
✅ Must have a minimum B grade in Year 12 Psychology
✅ Must be studying the AQA specification
✅ Parent/Guardian must attend a free 30-minute diagnostic call with a Psychology teacher

Week 1: Diagnostic Writing Assessment & Target Setting
Week 1: Diagnostic Writing Assessment & Target Setting
We’ll begin with a short, timed writing task to assess your current strengths and areas for development. You’ll receive personalised feedback and clear targets based on AQA assessment objectives (AO1, AO2, AO3) to guide your progress through the summer.
Week 2: Mastering 16-mark Essays
Week 2: Mastering 16-mark Essays
Learn how to confidently plan and write high-scoring 16-mark questions. We’ll break down model answers, explore paragraph structure using the PEEEL method, and focus on hitting all three AOs with balance and clarity.
Week 3: Application Masterclass
Week 3: Application Masterclass
Struggle to apply theory to unfamiliar scenarios? You’re not alone. This session will show you how to apply concepts accurately, select the right content, and integrate psychological terminology into your answers with confidence.
Week 4: Evaluation & Critical Thinking
Week 4: Evaluation & Critical Thinking
We’ll dive deep into AO3 — how to evaluate studies and theories effectively. You’ll learn how to avoid generic statements and instead write sharp, meaningful critique that secures top marks. We’ll also cover how to link evaluation back to the question.
